This round about is said to be the largest in Africa or West Africa. For those that know Otukpo town very well in Benue State, it has its uniqueness different from other traffic routes in the world. And that is, wherever you face as a driver is the correct lane. So there is no usual traffic rules and regulations.
Unfortunately, the law enforcement agencies are there watching helplessly. No offender. That means everyone is doing the correct thing.
As an observer, I don't blame anyone, being law enforcement agent or ordinary man that commit this offence.
For some years now we have reputable persons in politics and in the business world that would have turned this town (Otukpo) to a heaven.
I don't know when this unruly traffic jamboree will be over. If we have opportunity of doing one thing and we could have done it, the next person would do the next thing. But then, here we are, criss crossing the round about any how.
Well, I don't just want to be at this platform to entertain you with my poor idea. But for every low thought like this, there is something to learn.
Don't mind me as am trying to render my opinion towards our mother town where the number one traditional chief resides and majority of Idoma sons have their magnificent edifice of world class but no good roads to Otukpo and streets within.
God, please come to our aid as this set of people may not able to answer certain questions from the younger ones for human resources wasted and nothing to be imbibed or start from.
No wonder we could not be given state with nine local councils compare with Ebonyi with eight local councils even with our prominent sons then.
