A symbolic marriage has taken place between a Tiv Man and a Fulani woman in a bid to end the Tiv/Fulani crisis in the state.
The marriage was one of the strategies invented by Bishop Sam Zuga in Benue State during the strategic event in response to the Herdsmen Crisis in the state.
According to the Bishop, the symbolic marriage is one of the strategies that will help in reducing the rate of herdsmen attacks in the state.
"The strategies to end war between Fulani herdsmen and Tiv farmers includes Bishop Dr sam zuga wedding a Tiv farmer and a fulani woman at samzuga city this morning 28th March 2017"
